Is Bounty Hunting Legal in Florida

I have a question I was wondering if you could help me with, I apologize for asking, but you seem like a reliable source and may be able to give me an answer. I live in Florida and am interested in bail enforcement, fugitive apprehension, etc. What are the rules and laws here? Thank you very much for your help.

Apprehending bail fugitives is legal in Florida- the process is just a little different than in most states.

In Florida you must obtain your "limited surety agent" license from the
Florida Department of Financial Services, Bureau of Agent and Agency
Licensing, in order to legally apprehend bail fugitives.

It is important to note that in Florida it is illegal to refer to or
identify oneself as a bounty hunter, bail enforcement agent, fugitive
recovery agent, etc- anything other than a "limited surety agent" or a
"professional bail bondsman."

Yes, you could work in other states, traveling from Florida- I know of several people who do.
